A new direction for his career
Disney and Kaepernick
During this year's NFL draft, no team was interested in recruiting Colin Kaepernick but it seems that he will land quite steadily on his feet thanks to a new deal with Disney.

During this year's NFL draft, no team was interested in recruiting Colin Kaepernick but it seems that he will land quite steadily on his feet thanks to a new deal with Disney.

Kaepernick was the centre of some controversy when he took a knee during the U.S National Anthem, peacefully protesting racial inequality. The NFL originally disagreed with the protest, firing Kaepernick from the San Fransisco 49ers, but has since back-peddled on their position, defending players' right to protest.

Kaepernick, along with his production company, Ra Vision Media, will begin producing movies and TV shows across all Disney platforms including Walt Disney Television, ESPN, Hulu, Pixar, and The Undefeated. Creations will be a combination of scripted and unscripted content, tackling the subject of social injustice regarding race.
