Colts Take A Bite Out Of Sudbury
Cruise To A 4-1 Victory
The Barrie Colts bounced back from their 7-2 loss to Niagara with a 4-1 win over Sudbury on Friday night.
It was the second game of a 3-in-3 weekend for Barrie. The Colts jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first thanks to goals from Ben Hawerchuk and Justin Murray. Matej Pekar and Lucas Chiodo each potted short handed markers in the 2nd, and the Colts cruised from there. Rookie net minder Jet Greaves was solid in goal, stopping 28 of the 29 shots he faced en route to his first win of the season.
Barrie is back in action Saturday night to wrap up their three in three with a rematch against Niagara IceDogs.
