Community concerns over meth-dealing lead to Orillia home search and two arrests Wednesday

Pair from GTA facing charges

Two people from the GTA face trafficking charges after Orillia police followed up on drug dealing rumours.

Orillia detachment started probing the Koralea Crescent home after getting calls from concerned neighbours, claiming meth was being sold there. The investigation led to a search warrant being executed at the home on Wednesday.

Officers say meth, ecstasy, and percocets were seized during the search, along with other drug trafficking-related items.

A 20-year-old from Etobicoke and a 23-year-old from Markham are facing trafficking charges, the former will also answer to a resisting arrest charge in court.
