Driver of pickup truck wasn't hurt in crash

A man in his 70s was rushed to local hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Innisfil.

The collision happened shortly before 10 a.m. Friday on 20 Sideroad near Line 6 of Innisfil, the man was riding a bike on the roadway when police say he was struck by a pickup truck. The collision closed 20 Sideroad for several hours Friday.

Simcoe County Paramedics got the cyclist to hospital, where police say he is in stable condition. The pickup’s driver suffered no injuries.
