Deadly Crash Near Brechin
One man killed, two hurt
A 38-year-old Brechin man has been killed in a head-on collision on Highway 12 near Sideroad 15.
Emergency services were called after 2:30 this morning (Saturday) after a northbound vehicle crossed the centre line and into the path of a southbound vehicle.
Michael King was pronounced dead at hospital.
The driver of the southbound vehicle suffered serious injuries and was taken to a Toronto- area trauma centre. A passenger in his vehicle was treated for minor injuries.
Highway 12 north of Brechin was closed for several hours for the investigation.
