Two men would approach victims and claim to have trouble with their car

Toronto police have arrested two men and laid nearly 200 combined charges in connection with distraction thefts in Barrie, the GTA, Niagara Region and Guelph.

Police said the thefts occurred between March 8 and June 20.

They said the two men would approach drivers and tell them that they were having trouble with their car.
