Driver airlifted to Toronto following three-vehicle crash in Collingwood

Police seeking witnesses or dashcam footage

A serious crash in Collingwood has put one motorist in Toronto hospital with serious injuries.

At just before 6 p.m. Tuesday, first responders were called to the scene of a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of First and Cedar Streets; investigators say an eastbound vehicle collided with another, then struck a traffic pole at the intersection. A third vehicle that was travelling west was damaged in the initial crash.

One driver was first taken to local hospital and then airlifted to Toronto for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Another driver received minor injuries.
