A driver and a passenger fled after a car slammed into a rock cut and caught fire on White’s Falls Road east of Highway 400 north of Port Severn on Friday afternoon.

Tips from the public assisted the police canine unit in tracking down the suspects.

The three passengers of the car were taken to the hospital in Midland for treatment of their injuries and released.

A 25-year-old Orillia woman is charged with impaired driving, fail to stop at an accident and three counts of operation of a vehicle causing bodily harm.

Her driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and her vehicle has been impounded for a week.
