Five people face charges in a drug trafficking investigation that Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say was launched after two suspected overdoses at an address in Wasaga Beach.
After several weeks of investigation, police say they were able to form grounds and identify the occupants of the residence suspected of selling cocaine and fentanyl.
On May 8, OPP say they executed a search warrant at the home and seized fentanyl, cocaine, psylocibin, cash, cell phones, stolen identification from vehicle break-ins, and paraphernalia related to drug trafficking.
The five suspects were charged with trafficking cocaine and fentanyl and were all released with a future court date.
