Drugs and cash seized by police in searches at two homes in Barrie

Two men have been charged

The Ontario Provincial Police Community Street Crime Unit (Southern Georgian Bay detachment) has conducted searches at two homes in Barrie confiscating three kilos of cocaine, $36,525 in cash, a money counter, an Audi automobile, cell phones, and drug paraphernalia.

Investigators were assisted by the OPP Central Region K-9 Unit, OPP Central Region Emergency Response Unit, and Barrie Police Service Tactical Team.

Two men, ages 26 and 33, have been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
