Drugs, weapons seized during Friday morning raid of Midland home
Cocaine, crossbow among items seized
A predawn raid of a Midland home resulted in the seizure of some drugs and the arrest of a suspect.
The Southern Georgian Bay OPP came knocking on a Galloway Blvd. home around 6:30 Friday morning, with a search warrant as part of a drug-dealing investigation. Officers say a quantity of cocaine, methadone, drug paraphernalia, prohibited weapons, a crossbow, and Canadian currency was seized on scene.
A 45-year-old Midland resident is facing charges including trafficking and weapons possession.
