A two car crash in Essa sent one person to hospital, another to jail.
Officers arrived on scene around 2:00 Saturday morning, to a collision on the 5th Line of Essa, saying the 18-year-old female driver of one vehicle was rushed to hospital with non-life threatening wounds. The male driver of the other vehicle, a 26-year-old from Alliston, was checked out at hospital as a precaution, before police charged him with Dangerous and Impaired Driving.
His licence was suspended for 90 days, his vehicle impounded for a week.
Meanwhile, a 25-year-old man from Orangeville was charged with Impaired Operation on Saturday night, after calls of an erratic driver on Highway 93 in the Waverley area promted Southern Georgian Bay OPP to conduct a traffic stop.
