On Saturday, September 27, 2025, Barrie takes the spotlight as part of Music Day in Canada, a coast-to-coast celebration of live music powered by The Lemmon Foundation. This national initiative brings communities across Canada together through music, and in Barrie, the showcase highlights the city’s vibrant youth and all-ages scene.
The Barrie showcase will be hosted at The Rec Room Barrie Park Place (8 N Village Way) and features performances from:
- Crast
- Derby the Band
- Smokey & the Bones
With an all-ages format, the event creates an inclusive space for music lovers of every generation, celebrating both community and creativity. Alongside unforgettable performances, audiences can expect giveaways and the chance to connect with Barrie’s growing music scene.
