Failure to abide by COVID-19 restrictions forces temporary closure of outdoor rink at Midhurst Pavilion
The public is being asked to stay off the ice
Rules were not made to be broken.
Unfortunately, not everyone followed that advice and Springwater Township has temporarily closed the outdoor rink at the Midhurst Pavilion in Doran Park.
In a notice tweeted by the township, officials laid the blame on overcrowding issues, failure to abide by COVID-19 restrictions and ice maintenance issues.
The public is asked to stay off the ice until further notice.
