A Midland father is facing impaired driving charges after police say they pulled over a vehicle with small children in the car.
Officers with Huronia West OPP detachment were responding to a traffic complaint about a possibly impaired driver just before 9 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle was located along Highway 26 in Springwater Township and police say the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
The OPP adds there were three small children in the vehicle at the time, all under the age of eight.
A 33-year-old man had his driver’s license suspended for 90 days, while the vehicle was impounded for a week.
