Forcible Confinement Charges Laid In Bradford

Woman Prevented From Leaving

Charges have been laid after an woman’s night didn’t go as planned.

South Simcoe Police were called around 10:00 Saturday night, by a woman, working as an escort, who said she had been assaulted and robbed by a man who refused to let her leave. The woman was able to escape and call police, who went to a Bradford home to find the suspect.

A 42-year-old man was arrested without incident, and charged appropriately. The woman didn’t suffer any injuries.
