Four people injured in crash in Huntsville-area

Motorist charged with impaired driving

Four people were taken to hospital with injuries following a crash on Highway 60 in the Huntsville area.

Shortly after one o’clock Sunday afternoon, Ontario Provincial Police responded to numerous traffic complaints on Highway 60 for an erratic driver, resulting in a collision.

Police located the vehicle, and with the help of witnesses, the driver was located. Officers say the initial investigation revealed the driver had consumed alcohol prior to the collision.

A 32-year-old Etobicoke man is facing several charges including impaired operation of a vehicle causing bodily harm and dangerous operation of a vehicle causing bodily harm.
