Free transit in Orillia: Riders must board and exit using rear door.

Riders asked to keep 2 metres from other passengers

Orillia transit is offering free service from now until the end of April. The city says it’s critical for people to have the ability to ride the bus to get basic things like groceries, or to jobs that we rely on in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile riders are required to board and exit the bus from the rear door only, which reduces the risk to transit operators and further supports social distancing.

Those with accessible needs can still board the front door while keeping a distance of 2 metres (6 feet) while waiting for the bus or on board the bus.
