Garbage Can Used As Getaway Vehicle In Downtown Barrie
Police Hoping to Identify Five Points Theft Suspect
Did you happen to see a guy dragging a garbage can away from the Five Points around midnight this past Friday the 13th?
Barrie Police are trying to identify a suspect they say went into the Tim Horton’s at Dunlop and Bayfield Streets at around 11:30 on the night of Friday, December 13th, and spent about 20 minutes inside. Police claim that time was spent filling a covered garbage can with stolen items before leaving the store, hauling the can as he went.
The suspect is described as:
- Male
- White
- Approximately 30-years-old
- White partial beard/goatee
- Wearing a white bandana around face, a blue baseball hat with red logo, a beige hooded sweatshirt/jacket, beige pants, beige skateboard shoes, and blue and grey wool gloves
