Gondola grads: Blue Mountain Resort is offering 2020 graduates a mountain top picture

About 400 graduates will have their photos taken

Blue Mountain Resort’s offer to 2020 graduates of a free photo in a gondola at the mountain top is sold out.

From preschool to post-secondary students, 400 graduates have signed up for the gondola ride which will take them to the top of Blue Mountain for the pictures.

Public Relations Manager Tara Lovell said strict protocols are in place because of COVID-19 and the trip in the gondola will be limited to immediate family or that person’s social bubble.

“We expect to take photographs of 400 graduates over several hours this Thursday afternoon. It’s sold out. This is to mark a milestone moment. The photographer will be on the top of the mountain taking pictures of graduates who will be in the open-air gondola with Georgian Bay in the background. The graduates will be able to download the photos for free.”

There is no cost to ride the gondola.
