Eighties nostalgia is far from over, as movie studios are set to revive two iconic franchises from that era.
Deadline reports that Warner Bros plans to bring back "Gremlins" and "The Goonies."
Very little is known about these sequels or their premise, but we do know Chris Columbus will return to write the screenplay for the third Gremlins film.
The first Gremlins was released in 1984, followed by " Gremlins 2: The New Batch " in 1990.
The original Goonies, starring young Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, Corey Feldman, Jeff Cohen, and Key Huy Kwan, was released in 1985 and became an instant childhood classic for people of the era.
