It's never healthy to carry a grudge.

A 15-year-old boy has been charged after Barrie police allege the teen, armed with a knife, approached another male on Thursday afternoon in a Bayfield Street plaza parking lot to resolve a dispute that happened in March last year.

Police say the two males had a loud verbal interaction, and it's alleged the youth hoped to entice the other into a fight.

The plan failed, and now the boy is facing charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, uttering threats to cause death/bodily harm, and two counts of breach of probation (weapon/non-communication).
