
March Break is just around the corner and while it gives students a much-needed respite, it almost certainly means more work for parents. Luckily, Simcoe County has tons of day camps available all week long to make sure your little ones have plenty of fun during their week holiday.
MacLaren Arts Centre
Kids 6 to 11 will get in touch of their creativity using a variety of materials and learn about the gallery's current exhibits at MacLaren Arts Centre's Abstract Nature March Break Camp. This camp takes place from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday and costs $315 ($300 for members) for the week with options for additional before and aftercare.
Barrie Kempettes Gymnastics Club
Barrie Kempettes Gymnastics Club is making it easy for your kids to stay active over March Break with their day camps. Days will be filled with crafts, games, and of course, gymnastics! This years daily theme's include Game Day Challenge, Green Day, Let's Have S'more Fun, Shark Tank Day and Dance Party.
This camp is for kids ages 4 and up and is $55/day with options for before and after care.
Talk Is Free Theatre
To be at camp? Or not to be at camp? That is the question.
Actually, it's not a question at all, of course, you should be at Talk Is Free Theatre's Camp! This week-long camp will teach kids improvisation, character building, and scene study with fun activities.
The camp costs $190 and runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM with additional before and after care options.
Simcoe County Museum
Looking for something fun and educational to keep the kids busy? The Simcoe County Museum has you covered with a full lineup of themed day camps running all week long.
Each day brings a new adventure, with themes like Science and Technology, St. Patrick’s Day, Mind Over Matter, Environmental Day and more. It’s a great way for kids to explore different interests, get creative and stay engaged in a hands-on setting.
Families can register for the full week for $175, or pick and choose individual theme days for $40 per day. Museum members receive a discounted rate of $35 per day.
Snow Valley Ski Resort
Whether they already love the slopes or haven't been on a hill a day in their life, Snow Valley Ski Resort is offering a day camp for kids ages 6 to 14 to learn and have some fun in the snow. Prices vary depending on equipment rentals, and lift ticket options (such as being a season pass holder already).
Vertical Zone
Vertical Zone offers an awesome experience for kids 4 to 12 years old and any skill level, no previous jumping experience required. Kids will enjoy trampolining, STEAM projects, and cooperative games.
Be sure to pack them a bottle of water, lunch, and some nut-free snacks too. Camp runs Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Kids can be registered for single days ($99) or the whole week ($455) with additional before and after care available for an additional cost.
Barrie Colts Hockey Camp
If your kids already know the basics but want to learn more, the Barrie Colts Hockey Camp is the perfect way for them to up their game while having a whole lot of fun. Kids will train, meet Colts players, watch them practice, and more.
Hockey Camp is for kids 7 to 13. You can sign your kids up for either Monday, Tuesday, and/or Friday (SOLD OUT) for $130 per day. This camp runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Hardwood Ski And Bike
March Break Madness is returning to Hardwood Ski And Bike this March Break. Kids 6 to 10 will enjoy a day of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing, and more.
Each day is $75 and includes equipment, tickets, and afternoon snacks ($60) if you don't need ski rentals). There is also a lunch option.
Wye Marsh
Wye Marsh is located on 3,000 acres of Provincially Significant Wetlands and woodlands, which means there's lots to see and do. Kids will get to snowshoe, see a working sugar shack, visit with reptiles, amphibians, and birds of prey, learn about the swans, and more.
Camp is $325 for the week ($245 to $295 if you're a member), open to kids 4 to 12, and runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Scanlon Creek Nature Centre
Celebrate the last week of winter at March Break Camp with the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority. Kids 4 to 10 will learn how to kick-sled, bird watch, build forts and so much more.
Camp is $335 for the week and runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Dinoland
Dinoland in Tottenham runs all March Break long from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with before and after care available. The cost is $260 for the week for $55 per day.
Designed for children 4 to 10, your kids will enjoy lots of fun activities, crafts, and playtime in a giant indoor playground. And we really do mean giant – the whole space is 12,000 sq ft with a 2,400 sq ft play structure and tons of other fun things to do.
Drop-in times are also available for families looking to play but not attend camp.
Kaleidoscoppe
If you’re looking to keep the kids active and entertained this March Break, Kaleidoscoppe has an exciting week planned.
Campers will head out on fun field trips, take part in interactive games, get creative with crafts and enjoy plenty of hands-on activities designed to keep them engaged all day long.
The full-week camp is $430, with a limited-time sale price of $395.
Code Ninja
If your child loves technology, coding, and creativity, Code Ninjas has the perfect camps to keep them engaged and learning! With hands-on experiences in robotics, coding, and more, kids aged 5+ will have a blast while developing problem-solving and STEM skills.

Curio
Camp Curio offers hands-on projects and play-based P.L.A.Y. Camp for kids ages 4.5 to 10.

Skate Mariposa
Skate Mariposa is hosting a full week of skill development, exciting off-ice activities and specialized programs to keep athletes active over March Break.
The lineup also includes the Special Hockey March Break Camp, designed to offer a supportive and engaging experience for players of all abilities.
Upchuckle Education
Upchuckle Education is turning March Break into a hands-on animation studio experience from March 16th to 20th.
During the week, students will learn how to design original characters, explore drawing fundamentals like perspective and storytelling, and bring their ideas to life through flipbook animation. By the end of camp, each child will create their own animated flipbook story, with filmed copies sent home to share with family. If time allows, campers may also collaborate on a group stop-motion project. The week wraps up with film screenings and a Friday pizza party.
