Handgun pulled during parking dispute in south Barrie

Incident happened at the victim's home

Barrie police is investigating after a handgun was pointed at a person in their south Barrie home.

Police say the male suspect attended the victim’s residence on Black Cherry Crescent – in the area of Mapleview Drive and Marsellus Drive – around 11 p.m. on Friday.

A confrontation took place over a parking dispute. Police say the suspect then displayed a handgun at the victim before leaving in a vehicle.

The suspect is described as

  • Male
  • Long black, braided hair tied back
  • Approximately 5’8”-5’10” tall
  • Aged mid-20’s
  • Wearing a grey t-shirt, black pants, white high-top shoes and has what appears to be a white bandage or wrap on his right hand
  • Armed with a handgun
