Barrie's Live Music Show's Care and Comfort initiative is supporting residents of long-term care homes and you too can help!
Barrie's Live Music Show has already been supporting our community by providing a platform for local musicians to sing, rap, play, and jam their hearts out while raising money for local charities and organizations.
Their newest initiative is called Care and Comfort and they will be collecting cash donations in order to put together locally sourced care packages (full of hand cream, blankets, puzzles, treats, and more) that will be distributed to patients of long term care homes across our region. Don't worry if you are unable to contribute financially because there is still a way for you to get involved: Write and drop off unsealed greeting cards to the Proudwest Funzone in Innisfil before the end of February and they will also be distributed to long term care homes when it is safe to do so.
The goal for this initiative is to raise $3000 and it is already halfway there! Let's help smash that goal and support the most vulnerable residents of our amazing community.
