Some hard-hitting snowfall of late has a local ski hill breaking its record and opening its earliest ever.
Horsehoe Ski Resort says it will open on Wednesday, November 13th, the earliest it has opened for the season and beating a record set in 1995.
Mount St. Louis Moonstone will be opening two days later, on Friday, with nine slopes and a small rail. Blue Mountain Resort will open its slopes on the same day.
