The Buddy Paddles Simcoe event took place over the past weekend and it was paw-sitively wonderful!
After paddling along the shores of Lake Simcoe, participants spent the afternoon in the sun eating lunch, checking out vendors and enjoying the company of the COPE Service Dogs! There was even a special presentation with one of the dogs where the pooch showcased his skills like taking off his owers shoes and socks, fetching a water bottle, picking up his own leash, and barking on command!
The money raised at the event will help COPE continue to provide service animals and training to people with disabilities.
