Ontario Provincial Police say a body was found around 8:40 p.m. Sunday night in the area of the 25th Sideroad in Adjala-Tosorontio Township.
"A post-mortem will be conducted to confirm the identity and determine the cause of death," police said in a news release Monday evening. "The investigation is ongoing, and more information will be released as it becomes available."
Police say the investigation is being conducted under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch with the assistance from OPP Forensic Identification Services, and in collaboration with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
