The annual CAA Worst Roads campaign released its 2025 results on Thursday, and the top 10 in Ontario did not include any roads from Simcoe County, Barrie, Orillia, or Muskoka.
However, when routes are broken down by region, that's when things began to crumble.
CAA says in Central Region, which includes the counties of Simcoe, Bruce, Dufferin, Grey, and the District of Muskoka, the 7th Line in Innisfil ranked number one on a list of five, followed by Huronia Road in Barrie, Brentwood Road in Angus, Laclie Street in Orillia, Mary Street in Barrie, and Fraserburg Road in Bracebridge.
