Impaired charge laid on the water in Penetanguishene Bay

One last fling on the water has resulted in an Impaired Boating charge and a 90-day licence suspension for a 25-year-old Oro Medonte man.

OPP say he was among three people on personal watercraft they happened upon Sunday evening tethered to a navigational buoy at Asylum Point at the entrance to Penetanguishene Bay.

A 20-year-old Tiny Township woman received a three-day license suspension after registering a Warn on a screening device.

Both of their vessels were towed from the scene and secured at a nearby marina.
