The collision did not result in serious injuries
Barrie Police

Barrie police cleared some business when they responded to a two-car collision on Dunlop Street, just west of Cedar Pointe Drive.

They got to the scene just after midnight where officers determined that a driver had left an establishment on Dunlop Street and struck another vehicle that was slowing down to enter the driveway of another business.

The collision did not result in serious injuries.

A 39-year-old Barrie man was arrested for impaired driving and was transported to the police station for further investigation.

As it turned out, the man was wanted by Barrie police on two outstanding warrants.

He was charged with impaired and two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.
