
Barrie police have charged a 61-year-old man with numerous offences after they received information about an individual who made "inappropriate requests" to a teenager at the downtown public library on Worsley Street.
Police allege the suspect communicated with the male by sharing a handwritten letter.
"The victim immediately reported this incident, and police were assisted by library staff in identifying the now accused," police said in a news release.

The accused was held for a bail hearing and was remanded into custody.
