Innisfil ideaLAB launches online job-seeking and homework helpers

Those looking for help with their studies, or for a new career, can get live online support

Job seekers have a few new tools in their belt, thanks to the Innisfil IdeaLAB and Library.

The library has launched a new digital platform called Brainfuse: JobNow which provides free, live online job search assistance as well as resume review and other resources when looking for a job. Users can expect to see live coaches who can assist in resume or cover letter preparation, and help prepare for that critical job interview too. A job search tool is also built-in.

On top of this new job-seeking platform, the library is offering to help students get a leg up on their studies with Brainfuse: HelpNow. Much like the job-seeking service, HelpNow offers online live tutoring and personalized homework help. Students will be able to communicate with a tutor for free, between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. daily. There are also adult learning elements built in, including help with the Canadian Citizenship test.

“The Library is delighted to introduce a tool to empower, support, and strengthen skills for the residents of Innisfil during the COVID-19 pandemic, increasing your Library’s online resources with a comprehensive virtual offering in an increasingly at-home world,” says Susan Baues, ideaLAB & Library Deputy CEO. “The Library is proud to be able to provide this resource to the community.”
