Innisfil Wellness Centre Getting a Kitchen
Local Farm Giving Back to Community
An Innisfil Health and Wellness Centre is a million dollars richer, thanks to a local farm.
Horodynsky Farms today announced it is donating $1 million to the Rizzardo Health and Wellness Centre to bring a community kitchen to the facility.
The money would fund the Horodynsky Community Kitchen, equipped with industrial grade hardware and a spacious layout, and expected to promote healthy eating create opportunities for seniors to socialize and cook together and help at-risk youth find employment and one the job training.
“This is my way of giving back to the land that has been good to us,” Horodynsky explains. “We all need to do our part to bring health and wellness options closer to home.”
Currently under construction at the corner of Yonge Street and Innisfil Beach Road, the RHWC is scheduled to open in Spring, 2019
