Magic’s World Champion Has Been Crowned
Eric Chien Won This Year's World Championship of Magic
Some sleight of hand so fast, you’ll find yourself rewinding over and over.
Eric Chien’s six and a half minute long magic routine has earned him this year’s honour at the International Federation of Magic Societies’ awards ceremony. The World Championship of Magic is only held once every three years meaning for a bevy of participants vying for the title, while Chien was able to emerge at the top.
The grand prize from this year’s awards in Las Vegas was $300,000. The next championship will be held in Quebec in 2021.
