Man has life-threatening injuries in tow truck rollover on Highway 400 in Innisfil

OPP say the driver was ejected from the vehicle

A tow truck driver was ejected when the vehicle rolled over on Highway 400 in Innisfil just before 8:30 Monday morning.

Acting Sgt. Dan Hunter said this happened in the southbound lanes at the ONroute, south of Innisfil Beach Road.

Hunter said the 21-year-old York Region man was not wearing a seat belt. A 28-year-old Wasaga Beach woman was buckled in and came away with minor injuries.

He said it looks like the truck rolled as the driver made a lane change.

Anyone with information is asked to call Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122.
