The public viewing of the Raptors game at Meridian Place is cancelled for tonight. Due to extreme winds, the contractor is unable to safely install the screen.

Galaxy Cinema viewing party sold out

It seems like the further the Toronto Raptors go the crazier the fans get and now you can be a part of that wild ride.

No need to travel down to Toronto and squeeze your way through "Jurassic Park", the place to be to cheer on your raps is right here in the core of downtown Barrie. Meridian Place will be playing game 2 of the NBA finals on a large screen starting at 8 pm June 3rd rain or shine.

There really is no better way to take in all of the excitement of the finals than alongside friends and fellow fans. Who else is excited to see Meridian place transform into a sea of red and black?

Don't worry about keeping the noise down, the city of Barrie has implemented a special exemption for the noise by-law in anticipation that the game will run past 11 pm. Cheer your heart out, go Raps!
