Barrie man freed based on time served

Convicted of First-Degree Murder in the 2006 stabbing death of his cousin Nick Bullock walked out of a Barrie courtroom Wednesday a free man.

He was convicted on a lesser charge of Manslaughter and given credit for time already served.

The Ontario Court Of Appeal had overturned the previous conviction on a technicality.
