Fail to Remain driver arrested in Muskoka while eating chicken wings

Did not know there had been a collision

A suspected fail to remain driver was arrested Tuesday night in a stopped vehicle on Highway 169, finishing an order of chicken wings.

Ontario Provincial Police say the accused was not aware there had been a collision.

The collision happened just after 9 p.m. on Highway 169 in Gravenhurst.

The arrest was made a half-hour later, further along the highway.

A 67-year-old Muskoka Lakes man has been charged with impaired driving and failing to report a collision.
