New Barrie BIA members given council assent
Six new members given approval following internal by-election
Barrie City Hall has given the nod to a group of new members to the Barrie Business Improvement Association.
Council gave approval to a group of six newly-elected members at its Monday night meeting, following a BIA by-election. Bianiela Fuda, Rob Hamilton, Colin Hassey, Jason Ing, Paul Lynch, and Cait Patrick were all elected to the BIA board following a spate of resignations last year.

In the Fall of last year, the BIA faced attrition and went through some shake-ups in order to refocus, following allegations of closed-door in-fighting that spilled into the public realm.
