New Tecumseth Rubberstamps This Year’s Budget
Modest Increase to the Property Tax Bill
The average New Tecumseth resident’s property tax bill is going up by less than sixty bucks.
New Tecumseth council has passed the 2019 budget, with a 2.66% increase over last year. That represents an approximate $59 increase for the average New Tec home valued at $420,000.
The $34.9 million budget includes money set aside for Fire Station 4’s phase two construction, improvements to Tottenham’s Mill St. Reservoir, infrastructure improvements across the community, along with the usual capital expenses.
