Driver was nabbed on Mapleview Drive East

Hopefully an 18-year-old driver got some new walking shoes for Christmas.

Barrie police say their traffic unit clocked a motorist at 67 km/h over the posted speed limit of 60 km/h on Mapleview Drive East on Friday afternoon.

The truck has been impounded for seven days. The driver has been charged.
