No Injuries After Pedestrian Struck By Driver With Shady Driving History

Police Recognized Driver Description

A hit-and-run suspect sounded familiar to police.

Around 4:30 on Monday afternoon, South Simcoe Police were called to the intersection of John and Colbourne Streets in Bradford, with reports a person had been struck by a car. The victim wasn’t injured but was able to provide police with a description of the suspect.

Officers were able to identify the suspect based on previous poor driving history. The suspect vehicle was located at a nearby business.

A 61-year-old Bradford man faces seven charges, including Fail to Remain, Careless Driving, and Driving Without a Permit.
