All 12 kids are okay after a bus was sideswiped in Springwater
Collingwood driver charged
Nobody was hurt after a school bus was involved in a minor crash in Springwater.
At about 8:50 a.m. Friday morning, a school bus was travelling southbound on Wilson Road, when a northbound flatbed tow truck allegedly veered around a disabled vehicle on the shoulder, entering the southbound lane and sideswiping the oncoming school bus.
The bus was carrying 12 children aged 4 to 10 at the time. All were cleared by County of Simcoe paramedics on scene before being transferred to another bus and taken to school.
A 30-year-old Collingwood man is facing a charge of careless driving.
