Nobody hurt, no fuel spilled, after pump knocked down at south Barrie gas bar

Traffic disrupted in the area as fire crews held the scene

Barrie Fire confirms nobody was injured after a gas pump was knocked to the ground this morning.

The incident happened around 10 a.m. Monday; a vehicle reportedly struck the pump at a gas station at Yonge Street and Coxmill Road.

Fire crews were on scene just minutes later, and after confirming no fuel was leaking, continued to hold the scene until the gas station could send a repair crew in.

The Barrie Police Service confirms it is investigating the incident but have not yet laid any charges.
