Nottawasaga OPP charge Magnetawan man with child pornography offences

Electronic evidence was seized during a home search this week

Nottawasaga OPP have arrested a 21-year-old Magnetawan man on charges of online luring, possession of child pornography, indecent exposure, and distribution of sexually explicit material.

Officers confiscated electronic material during a search this week of a home in Magnetawan.

The accused was released from custody following a bail hearing. He is scheduled to appear in court on September 2, 2021, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford.

Apple says it’s going to start scanning iPhones and iCloud in the U.S. for child pornography. If it finds anything suspicious, it will be forwarded to a team, which will determine if it’s porn or something innocent.
