Two trucks were removed from the road by Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) due to numerous safety defects.
The vehicles were stopped by police on Wednesday as the rigs were heading into Edenvale Airport off of Highway 26 in Springwater Township.
Both commercial motor vehicles were found with cracked rims on their trailers, police said in a Facebook post.
Other defects included brakes out of adjustment, inoperative brakes, inoperative tractor protection system, cord exposed on tire, and inoperative signal and brake lights.

Police say both drivers and their respective companies were charged, and both the trucks and trailers from each company had their plates removed and were put into an unfit status.
