OPP arrest two more suspects in gunpoint robbery at Orillia apartment last week

OPP said shots were fired inside the residence

Provincial police have rounded up two more suspects in connection with a gunpoint robbery in Orillia.

On Monday, April 6, OPP were called around 6:30 p.m. about shots fired at an address on Mississaga Street West. Several people were seen running from the area.

An investigation determined four people entered a residence and demanded items the occupants had. Shots were fired inside the apartment. The suspects and several occupants then fled the area.

Police eventually rounded up two suspects, a 27 year old Barrie man and a 32 year old Orillia woman.

On Thursday, OPP with the assistance of Barrie Police caught the other two suspects, a Penetanguishene man and woman from Essa Township, both in their 30s.

The four individuals face robbery and weapons-related charges.
