OPP charged 18 speeding drivers along Highway 11 in Muskoka on Thursday

Drivers travelling at rate higher than 35 km/h over the limit were issued a ticket

OPP issued speeding tickets to a total of 18 drivers in Muskoka on Thursday.

Police from the Bracebridge and Huntsville detachment joined forces to address the speeding issues along Highway 11. All drivers driving at a minimum of 35 km/h over the posted limit were charged.

Anyone driving at a rate higher than 50 km/h will face a charge of street racing. These drivers face an automatic seven-day license suspension and their vehicle will be impounded for seven days.
