
A man has been charged after Ontario Provincial Police responded to a coffee shop in Collingwood on Tuesday afternoon about someone throwing rocks at passing vehicles.
He allegedly damaged the entrance to the First Street business.
When officers attempted to speak to him, it's alleged he resisted arrest and assaulted an officer, who sustained an eye injury. The officer was treated at a local hospital and released.
A 32-year-old from Wasaga Beach was charged with assaulting a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, causing a disturbance, public intoxication, and mischief.
